"Ow man, another girl?"Alec, who got both a slap on his shoulder from Sophie and Parker, sighed. "Who is she?"Sophie asked. "My niece."I said while I tried to located her. That was pretty hard, considering the last years had graduated yesterday. The next few days was moving out the dorms and running around campus.
"You never told us you had a niece."Parker pointed out. "What are you trying to hide for us Ford?". "She's the daughter of my sister who died a few years ago. I promised her I would look after Skye and when she graduated would take her in."I explained. "So the little monster has a name."Parker replied. I rolled my eyes. That girl could be so strange sometimes. Then I spotted a girl that was sitting close to the fountain. On her lap she had a laptop and on her head she was wearing headphones with a microphone.
"Skye?"I asked when we were in heardistance. "Uncle Nate!"she said suprised. "I'm so glad to see you. Give me five minutes.". Her fingers made a constant tapping sound on the keyboard. "And we're in. Matthew your turn."she said into the microphone. We all saw how a boy on a skateboard bumped into a teacher and started to excuse himself. He helped the teacher picking up his papers and kept talking to the teacher. "Keep him busy Matthew, Millicent you got three point seven minutes.".
"Copy."we heared coming from the laptop. "What are you doing?"I asked her while I took a seat next to her. "We're trying to prove that a student has swapped his grades with the grades of my client."she replied. "Wow, she does sound like you."Alec said and sat at the other side of Skye. "S."the voice on the laptop said. "Standing in the princepals office but his closet has a numberlock.". "Give me a sec Milli. I'm hacking his computer."Skye replied. "Try 0710."she said a few seconds later.
"Let me guess, the birthday of his wife."the girl named Milli replied. "As always."Skye answered. "Does it work?". "What do you think? Of course it worked."Milli said. Suddenly the boy's voice could be heard on the laptop. "S we got a problem. The target is taking off.". Skye looked up from her screen. "Code red. Milli get out of there as fast as you can. I'll try to give you a few minutes extra.". She closed her laptop and handed it to Alec. "Take care of that please."she said before she pulled of her headphones and ran to the man the boy had bumped into.
"Excuse me mr. James?"she asked. "I wanted to ask if you give summerclasses this year?". "Of course I'm givig summerclasses this year Skye."the teacher replied. "But why do you ask. You're my best student and got the maximum on your science exam. You don't need extra lessons.". "Ow but it's not for me. A friend of mine who's in tenth grade has problems with sience. He's interested in extra lessons.". "Well, I'll give you a flyer with the days and hours of the lessons.". The man handed her a piece of paper and then left.
Skye came back to us and soon her friends joined us. "That was impressing."Sophie said. "Learned from the best."Skye replied looking at me. "Skye, I want you to meet my team."I said. "Parker, Sophie, Alec and Eliot. Guys meet my talented niece Skye Ford.". "Well, and I want you to meet my team."she said pointing at the boy and girl who had appeared next to her. "Matthew and Millicent meet my uncle the great Nathan Ford.". They all shook hands.
"Man that was a close one."Matthew said. "Yeah, tell me about it."Millicent said. "You weren't the one who got the risk to get caught.". "Hey, I skated in our sienceteacher who's also the princepal!"Matthew yelled.
"Matt, Milli!"Skye broke the two apart. "And then they say twins have a close bond.". Both Millicent and Matthew looked the other way. "So, Milli. Do you have the papers?"she asked. "Is James Bond a spy? Of course I have the papers."Millicent gave a file to Skye.
"Okay, then now it's time for the setup."she said smiling. "I learned you way too much."I said to her. "I help people. So you can't complain."she replied. "I like her."Parker said. "You called her a little monster a few minutes ago."Alec replied. "Yeah, but I like little monsters."Parker answered. Skye looked at me.
"Don't listen to her. She gets strange sometimes. Give it time and you'll start to love her.". Skye nodded. "Hey, do you guys wanna help?"she asked. I looked at my team. "That depends on what kind of plan it is."Eliot said. "Come on. I'll explain everything in my room."she replied smiling.
