Skye's POV
Both Milli and me were packing our stuff. We graduated yesterday and would leave the campus soon. Matthew was laying on his sister's bed. "Shouldn't you atleast offer to help?"Milli asked irritated. "Why should I?"he asked. "I packed most of my stuff already.". "I swear to God, one day I'm gonna kill you."Milli said. "Jeez, I'm glad I don't have siblings."I heard Alec say through the earphone. "Yeah, they've been like this for... Well, since their birth I think."I replied. "Does the camera work?".
"It does."Eliot said who had joined his team at the computerlab. "I must say, your friend is a pro at the stranglingtechnic.". Strangling? I looked at my friends. Millicent had pinned Matthew on her bed and held her arm around his neck. "Milli! Cut it out! You're gonna kill him!"I yelled and rushed over to their side. "So? Then my biggest dream of being an only child comes true."she replied. "What are you gonna tell your parents?"I asked. "Good point."she said and released her brother. "Thank you."he said while he rubbed his neck. The place where Milli had grabbed him saw red.
"Okay, guys. The camera in the hallway shows that Alex is coming your way."Alec said. "And he seems pissed.". "Perfect."the three of us said in unison. As on cue someone knocked on the door. "Come in."I said. Alex entered and it was obvious he was angry. "Start recording now."Alec informed me, Milli and Matt. "So why did the princepal needed to talk to you?"asked Matthew. "A file was missing and they think I took it."Alex said. "Did you?"I asked. "No, but on some way it appeared in my backpack.". "Wow, that sucks."Milli said. "Any idea who putted it there?". "Joana."Alex said. Wonderful when a plan succeeds.
"Why do you think that?"I asked. "I blackmailed her during the year. She had to make my homework or I would beat her little brother up.". "Dude, that's not cool."Matthew said. "It's not that I would actually do it."Alex replied. "Joana was too afraid to refuse. But with the exams I cheated and swapped my exam with hers. I got her A's and she got my D's and F's. She told me she would take revenge but I thought she was bluffing. Guess I was wrong.".
I heard through my earphone how Alec said: "I wonder what this button would do. Ow no! Now I sended the file to every computer here on campus!". The sarcasm in his voice was clear. Within ten minutes the princepal entered the room together with Joana. "Mister Austin. Would you like to join me to my office? We need to talk about an incident that happend with the exams.". "How..."Alex started.
"We're the answer on the question you're gonna ask."I cut him off. "The three of us work for Joana over here. She asked us if we could help her with the blackmailing and the examswapping.". "You can't prove I've done that!"Alex said. "Wrong again."Milli said amused and opened the e-mail with the tape in it. "And that e-mail is sended to every computer on this campus."Matthew said. "Try to talk you out of this one Alex."I said and then the princepal took him away.
"Thank you so much."Joana said when Alex was gone. "It wouldn't have worked without the help of my uncle and his team."I said. As on cue they entered. We explained how we had tricked Alex in a confession. "Wow, that's amazing."Joana replied. "But I have to go now. The princepal wants to change my grades again to the ones I really got.". She picked up her bag and then left.
"Well, that was our last case."Matthew said. "How so?"Parker asked. "We graduated."I said. "Each of us has to go their own way now.". "Not that we want to."Milli remarked while she threw some of her stuff in boxes. "Maybe you don't have to."my uncle said. The three of us looked at him confused. "Skye remember what I promised your mom?"he asked me. "You said that you would look after me and as soon as I graduated, I could move in with you.". Uncle Nate exchanged some glances with his team who all nodded.
"The only problem is that if you're gonna move in with me, you also have to move in in my team."he said. "You ask me to join your team?"I asked shocked. "Not only you. All three of you.". "Seriously?"Matthew asked. "We've seen what you can do. Individual but also together."Eliot said. "You three would be perfect for our team.". "We have a headquarters where we all live."Alec went further. "There are still some rooms free.". "We'll have to train you of course but that shouldn't be a problem."Sophie said. "You're all welcome as long as you keep your hands of my cereal."Parker finished. "So what do you say?"my uncle asked. I looked at Matt and Milli. "We'll ask our parents."they said.
